Unlike AGVs (automated guided vehicles) which follow fixed magnetic tracks or wires, AMRs navigate dynamically using onboard sensors and SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping) — they map their environment and plan paths in real time, avoiding obstacles and people without stopping production.
