ENZAC Magnetic Separation Range

Magnetic contamination — nails, wire, worn tooling fragments, rust, weld splatter — is one of the most common and most damaging contaminants in bulk material handling, capable of wrecking downstream mills, pumps, and screens, or ending up in finished product. ENZAC supplies 16 distinct magnetic and eddy current separation product lines, covering every point in a process line from raw material intake through to liquid and slurry filtration, so the right separation method can be matched to the material, contamination level, and line speed rather than forcing one generic solution everywhere.

1. Magnetic Bar / Rod (ENZAC MB Series)

The simplest and most widely used magnetic separator — a sealed permanent-magnet rod mounted across a hopper, chute, or pipe, catching fine ferromagnetic particles and weak-magnetic contaminants from free-flowing powders and granules. Available as straight bars, water-drop and square-profile bars, threaded-end bars for custom mounting, inline pipe-housing cartridges, and hook-mounted hanging bars for portable use in drums or IBCs.

Inline pipe-housing cartridges (ENZAC MB-IP series, matching connection sizes D38–D50.8mm housings) mount directly into a flexible conveying hose between storage and hopper for continuous inline removal. Hanging bar magnets (ENZAC MB-H series, hook-mounted, 155–240mm drop) are used for quick manual dip-checks or portable removal in drums, IBCs, or intake hoppers. Construction is SUS304 or SUS316L, fully seal-welded for wet, liquid, slurry, or weak-acid environments.

2. Magnetic Grid / Grate Magnet (ENZAC MG Series)

A frame of parallel magnetic bars arranged in staggered rows, sized and shaped (round, square, or custom) to fit hoppers, chutes, pipes, and openings. Higher flow capacity and more thorough coverage than a single bar, and available in easy-clean, guide-rod, 90° angular-baffle, and food-grade-welded configurations.

3. Rotary Grate Magnetic Separator (ENZAC RGS Series)

A ring-shaped magnetic grid rotated by a geared motor inside a stainless housing, purpose-built for powders with poor flowability that tend to bridge or pile on a fixed grid or drawer magnet. Widely used for food additives, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, lithium battery electrode materials, pigments, carbon black, and flame retardants.

4. Self-Cleaning Drawer Magnetic Separator (ENZAC SCD Series)

An enclosed drawer-style magnetic grid with an automatic air-cylinder cleaning cycle — the magnetic rod layer pulls down, iron adsorbed on the rods automatically falls off, and the rod returns to the working position without stopping the feed. Suited to fine powder and granular material requiring continuous, uninterrupted iron removal in food, ceramics, chemicals, medicine, building materials, and battery electrode production. Double-sealed SUS housing, single- or multi-layer configuration, magnetic strength peaking over 14,000 Gs, rated to 350°C. Sized to project inlet/outlet requirements — contact ENZAC for a configuration matched to your line.

5. Plate Magnet / Suspended Magnet (ENZAC PM Series)

A flat or exposed-pole magnetic plate mounted above or below a chute, pipe, or conveyor belt to remove tramp iron — bolts, nuts, wire, nails — from free-flowing material without interfering with flow, protecting downstream crushers and mills. Fully sealed, waterproof-grade welded construction in SUS304 or SUS316L.

6. Bullet Magnet — Pipeline (ENZAC BM Series)

A bullet-shaped magnetic core mounted inside a pipeline iron-separator housing, designed for dry, free-flowing food and chemical products conveyed through gravity or pneumatic pipelines. The conical core shape spreads and fully contacts the material stream for optimal iron removal, widely used in flour processing, mills, grain handling, plastics processing, kaolin, and talc powder processing.

7. Suspended (Overband) Magnetic Separator (ENZAC OBM Series)

A powerful overhead magnet suspended above a moving conveyor belt or chute, continuously separating relatively large ferrous pieces — iron, steel — from bulk material streams without interrupting the line. Deep-reaching magnetic field, totally enclosed construction, and no operating cost since it uses permanent magnets with no power-failure risk. Widely used in waste recycling, grain, wood, chemical, construction, mining, thermal power, and steel industries.

8. Magnetic Pulley (ENZAC MPU Series)

A head or tail roller magnet used as the drive or idler pulley of a belt conveyor, forming a rotating magnetic field around its full circumference. Ferromagnetic particles are held to the belt underside past the point where non-magnetic product releases, so they fall away separately and are collected — continuous, automatic tramp-iron removal with no separate device needed.

9. High Intensity Roll Magnetic Separator (ENZAC HRS Series)

A high-gradient rare-earth roll separator for high-purity separation of weakly magnetic materials — an alternative to drum separators or grate magnets when fine or weakly magnetic particles must be recovered with high selectivity and continuous, automatic operation. Applications include industrial minerals (silica sand, feldspar, quartzite), refractory and abrasive media, heavy mineral sands (hematite, ilmenite), and glass, ceramic, and recycled raw material purification.

10. Magnetic Drum Separator (ENZAC MDS Series)

A rotating drum with a fixed internal magnetic core that continuously and automatically removes fine ferromagnetic contaminants — machinery iron filings, rust, worn tooling debris — from dry powder and granular flows without manual unloading. As material reaches the drum, magnetic particles are held to the shell through the rotation while non-magnetic material falls away freely. Applicable to glass, silica sand, limestone, ceramic raw materials, abrasives, alumina, silicon carbide, garnet, plastic particles, iron slag, ore, and refractory slag.

11. Electromagnetic Separator for Fine Powder (ENZAC EPS Series)

A high-precision electromagnetic iron remover purpose-built for ultra-fine powder purification — alumina, cobalt oxide, talcum powder, silica powder, lithium powder, titanium powder, zircon powder — where iron content must be reduced to single-digit or low double-digit PPM levels. Adjustable magnetic field strength (2–3 million Gauss node field), oil-circulating water cooling, and automatic or manual iron unloading. Main applications: batteries, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, abrasives, refractories, ceramics, specialty glass, specialty metal powders, and fine minerals.

12. Eddy Current Separator — Non-Ferrous Metals (ENZAC ECS Series)

Uses a high-frequency alternating magnetic field and a rare-earth eddy-current rotor spinning at much higher RPM than the belt conveyor to induce eddy currents in non-ferrous conductive particles (aluminium, copper, zinc), physically repelling and separating them from non-conductive material with minimal product loss. Applications include recovering non-ferrous metals from automotive industrial waste, aluminium beverage can recycling, glass cullet separation, incinerator ash processing, and shredded waste recovery.

13. Magnetic Conveyor / Elevator (ENZAC MCV Series)

A magnetic belt conveyor system that lifts steel or ferromagnetic products at a steep incline or vertically — cans, lids, crown caps, tin containers, brake pads, steel spare parts, nails, bolts, screws — where a conventional conveyor would need far more floor space, labor, and cost. Design is matched to the shape of the transported object, belt type, belt speed, and elevation angle. Max belt width 760mm, max elevation height 5m, steep incline angle up to 90°.

14. Magnetic Liquid Trap (ENZAC MLT Series)

A magnetic bar grate housed inside a sealed stainless barrel, installed in-line on a liquid or semi-liquid process pipeline to remove scale, rust, and fine ferromagnetic contamination while protecting downstream production equipment. Available in clamp-connection and flange-connection configurations, plus customized variants: no-residue bottom-drain type, straight-through type, low-in-high-out type, parallel multi-unit type, and "U"-style tandem manifolds for higher flow.

15. Automatic Liquid Permanent Magnetic Separator (ENZAC ALMS Series)

A fully self-contained, in-house designed automatic magnetic separation system for liquids and slurries carrying a high proportion of ferromagnetic impurities. Continuously filters, automatically backwashes, and expels captured impurities without stopping the line — supports on-site adjustable control parameters and an audible/visual alarm system to prevent accidents from misoperation.

16. Electromagnetic Separator for Slurry (ENZAC ESS Series)

A fully automatic electromagnetic filtration system generating a high-gradient magnetic field to remove micron-sized magnetic particles, including iron oxide impurities, from liquid slurries — stronger filtration performance than a permanent-magnet trap for high-precision applications such as precious metal catalyst recovery and strong-magnetic-media clarification.
