Automatic in-line weight verification for filled bags, cartons, and packages. Ensures every pack meets legal-for-trade weight requirements, with automatic over/under reject — protecting your brand from short-fill claims and giveaway losses.
A checkweigher verifies that every package leaving your line meets the declared weight — protecting consumers from short-fill and protecting your business from product giveaway. ENZAC supplies dynamic in-line checkweighers integrated directly into bagging and packaging lines, with automatic reject of out-of-tolerance packages.
Checkweighers are typically positioned immediately after the filling and sealing station, before palletizing. The reject mechanism — pusher, air-blast, or drop-gate — diverts non-conforming packages without stopping the line.
Under Malaysian Weights and Measures regulations and most export market requirements, declared package weight must be accurate within defined tolerances. Manual spot-checking cannot catch every non-conforming pack — a 100% in-line checkweigher does. Beyond compliance, checkweighing data also identifies upstream filling drift before it becomes a costly giveaway problem.
ENZAC integrates checkweighers with upstream filling control — feeding back weight data to automatically adjust the bagging machine's fill setpoint, reducing giveaway over time. Checkweighers can also be combined with metal detection in a single combo unit for compact installations.
ENZAC also provides ongoing calibration services for checkweighers — including third-party units. Learn about our calibration services →
