The Z-type bucket elevator receives material at floor level, conveys it horizontally, then lifts vertically to the discharge point — without intermediate transfers. Each bucket is attached to a belt or chain; material is scooped at the intake and discharged at the head section by centrifugal or continuous bucket action.
| Model | Bucket Volume (L) | Capacity (m³/hr) | Motor (kW) |
|---|---|---|---|
| DY-2L | 1.8 | 1–5 | 0.75–7.5 |
| DY-4L | 4 | 2–8 | 0.75–7.5 |
| DY-6L | 6 | 5–15 | 0.75–7.5 |
Bucket elevator: free-flowing granule, low energy cost, continuous vertical duty, heights up to 20m+. Pneumatic: longer runs, routing flexibility, fine powder. For vertical-only short runs with free-flowing granules, bucket elevator is typically lower cost and lower energy.
ENZAC commonly integrates Z-type bucket elevators to lift product from ground-level reception to elevated bagging hoppers — forming a gravity-feed bagging system where the bag filler sits below the elevated hopper.
ENZAC supplies this equipment as part of complete bulk material handling and end-of-line automation systems — not as an isolated piece. Tell us your full process scope and we'll specify the complete system.
