Pallet Packaging — Load Stabilisation
Stretch wrapping stabilises palletised loads before transit — preventing bags, boxes, or products from shifting during truck transport or warehouse storage. ENZAC integrates stretch wrappers directly with the palletizer outfeed, so wrapping begins automatically when a pallet is complete.
Three Wrapping System Types
Turntable Stretch Wrapper
The pallet rotates on a powered turntable while a film carriage moves up and down to apply stretch film. Most common for general palletizing applications. The pallet must be structurally stable enough to rotate — not suitable for very tall or unstable loads.
Rotary Arm Stretch Wrapper
The pallet remains stationary while a rotating arm carries the film around it. Ideal for heavy, unstable, or very tall loads that cannot safely rotate on a turntable. Suitable for loads up to 2,000 kg and pallets with overhanging product.
Stretch Hood
A tubular hood of stretch film is pulled over the entire pallet from above — covering the top surface and all four sides in one motion. Provides superior moisture and weathering protection compared to stretch film wrapping. Preferred for outdoor storage or export by sea.
