Once your material and system pressure have settled bore size and rotor design, the remaining question is what to confirm before ordering — installation timeline, warranty, and what support looks like once the valve is in service.

Installation and Commissioning Scope

Installation covers flange mounting into the conveying line, drive and VFD setup, shaft seal commissioning, and a leak/pressure test to confirm the valve is actually holding the pressure differential your system depends on — not just running mechanically. Ask for a timeline that includes this pressure verification step with your actual system, not a mechanical-only sign-off. Non-standard bore sizes typically add lead time — confirm this upfront if your application falls outside the standard 150–600 mm range.

Confirming Performance Holds Up on Your Material

The capacity formula (T = 0.06 × V × N × Y × R) is only as accurate as the fill efficiency and bulk density figures used — confirm your supplier has sized against your actual material's bulk density and flowability, not an assumed generic figure. For abrasive or corrosive materials, confirm the rotor coating or construction material specified is genuinely matched to your material, since premature wear here is one of the more common post-commissioning issues.

After-Sales Support to Confirm Before You Sign

ENZAC provides spare parts supply and service and maintenance — including annual maintenance contracts — for the rotary feeders it supplies, plus retrofit and upgrade options.

Warranty Terms

Confirm coverage (housing, rotor body, drive) versus exclusions (vane and seal wear components under abrasive-material duty), the warranty period, and whether it differs by construction material (mild steel vs. stainless vs. Hastelloy) given the different duty conditions each is typically specified for.
