Speed and accuracy class. Higher line speed (toward the 200 packages/minute ceiling) combined with tighter accuracy (toward ±0.5g) needs more sophisticated load cell and weighing platform technology than a lower-speed, wider-tolerance configuration.

Weight range. Models are typically optimised for a specific band within the 50g–50kg range — a checkweigher spec'd for very light packages isn't the same unit as one spec'd for heavier product, even if both fall within the broad range.

Reject mechanism. Pusher arm, air-blast, and drop-gate mechanisms differ in cost and complexity — air-blast in particular requires a compressed air supply, an added utility consideration.

Certification. OIML R51 compliance is standard on ENZAC's range, but confirm this explicitly if weight compliance is a regulatory requirement in your market — it isn't universal across every checkweigher on the market.

Ask for a realistic timeline broken into delivery, mechanical installation, calibration, and line integration testing with your actual product, rather than a single lump-sum estimate.

Confirming Accuracy Holds Up at Your Actual Line Speed

A checkweigher's accuracy figure depends on the speed it's running at — the tightest accuracy applies at lower speeds, and widens somewhat toward the maximum rated speed. Confirm your supplier has specified the unit against your actual required line speed, not a generic accuracy figure that assumes a lower speed than you'll actually run.
